Vehicular accident
There’s no doubt that this is the outcome once the panic attacked a person while driving. The main cause of this is that the panic-stricken driver may become very confused as well as completely disoriented.

Additionally, the sufferer will focus more on the feeling of fear than what he is currently doing. Then again, nobody can point a finger at you since panic attack driving usually appears from nowhere, without a warning and once manifested, they tend to be overpowering which can render you helpless.

Avoidance of being on the freeway
This is another consequence that can result from being attacked by panic. You will begin to avoid being in the freeway, just so to avoid any untoward incidence from happening. In other words, the sufferer may become too frightened to drive in the freeway again for the fear of suffering from a panic attack while driving.

Research reveal that people who are subjected to attacks while driving, tend to avoid the freeways altogether. The patient may no longer feel at ease or as poised in driving in main roads like before. This is due to the fact that no one and not even the patient himself know when the next attack would be. In the end, the fear that it will happen again while driving will always hinder him to drive. As expected, he or she will stay clear off the freeways as much as possible and simply stick to the road less travelled in order avoid any accidents and to be safe as well.

Dread for driving
Although, this may appear detrimental, the fear of driving can cause someone to feel incapacitated. Why? Because the sufferer fears that if he or she drives, the anxiety attack may take place, and soon they eventually develop a complete dread for driving. Some people even go to the extent of unlearning their driving skills as a result of not being able to drive. Often, this makes the patient feel worthless. And accordingly, the patient will become depressed.
